As mentioned in a previous post, I have been picking up some of my other laid-aside crafts recently. This blanket is going to be a gift. I started it a few weeks ago and have been working on it slowly. I had looked at a few patterns before starting it, but none of them were really what I was looking for, so I'm winging it. I really love the ruffly edging and the yarn is soooo super soft! I just love it. :)

For Lack of a Better Title...
Sorry for the scattered posts! Actually I have a lot planned and I'm working on getting the posts together...but I need to get the projects moving before I can post about them. I'm really excited about each and every one of them! What is that supposed to mean? I'm working on some of my non-jewelry projects! :D Soon you'll know for a fact that I do other crafts. So...this post is likely to just ramble on as I don't have any projects to post about....don't say I didn't warn you.
The other day I jumped into a teach-yourself-to-draw "textbook". If you know me, then you also know that I am almost a complete failure when it comes to drawing. Sure, I can do some flat things with no dimension, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about lovely sketches that you can tell what it is of and be in awe at how real it looks. That is where I go all wrong. I decided that I am going to work through this drawing book in attempt to improve my drawing skills. And you, my dear readers, will get some glimpses of my progress...if there is any progress that it. ;-)
Aside from that I'm working on three main projects. I'm not going to tell you what they are though, only what craft they are. The first is crocheted. It will be my biggest crochet project to date. The second and third are both sewn. One is smaller and one is bigger. And I think that's all I'm going to tell you. I'd love to see your guesses in the comment box! :)
To conclude this post I have a picture (one of many ;-) I took earlier this week after the snow storm we got. I loved how the sunlight was catching the icicles and just had to capture it.

Reward Post: Mobius Dangles!
First off, I did not intend on not posting for so long, I'm not sure what happened...I think I'll blame it on the subzero temp and the poorly insulated room where the computer is. My fingers are could typing right now and it's 43 degrees outside, just imagine me trying to type out a post last week when it was below zero.
Me: *typing* *fingers freeze and break off*
And then I wouldn't be able to make anything, let alone post about it. And if you decided to read through all of that I hope you're still alive and haven't decided to stop following the blog. ;-)
So, we're up to 14 followers! That's some motivation to post right there (comments help also ;-)! I already have the giveaway item made...you're gonna love it, all we need it one more follower!
Finally, I present to you a pair of mobius dangles! The jump rings are from UnkamenSupplies' 'Mardi Gras Mix'. It's purple, blue, and green, my favorite colors. :) Those I made into a mobius, then I decided to add the pearl at the end to make them longer.

"Charming" Cameo Pendant
I was digging through my jewelry box looking for little things I could use for jewelry making and I found a cameo charm. I love the look of cameos...so vintage. :D I then played around with some different ways of using it as a pendant, I decided to go the chainmaille way. But it looked like it was still missing something, so I added the fake pearl and voila!
I just had to add the black and white version of the photo. :)
