About Me

Hello my loyal readers!

You've seen some of my projects (and read a bit of nonsensical information) but now you're wondering who I am. Or maybe not, but you can read on anyways. But you don't have to, I mean, that's fine with me, your loss. ;)

My name is Leah. I'm a Catholic, homeschooled teenager living and striving to serve my God. I have an amazing mom and dad and three awesome brothers. Which would be why I'm not very well versed in Disney princess movies and I can't remember ever having a tea party where the tea wasn't chugged. ;) Despite that fact, I turned out as quite a girly-girl. Oh, and my name is often mistaken as 'Leia'. Thus this blog's name. I created 'Leia's Boutique' to share my work and random whims!

As you may know by now, I love crafting. My favorite form being jewelry making. But I also love paper crafts and crocheting (I know the basics of knitting, but never really got into it). I also sew occasionally. I can pretty much conquer any craft thrown at me. My way of expressing myself under the term of "art" is photography. I can also do some simple graphic design. But, my dear readers, I cannot draw or paint in any way, shape, or form. That is where I completely and utterly fail.

Some of my non-craft related hobbies include reading, writing (though, I will admit, I'm not great at it), cooking, and playing piano. I also babysit, but I'm not sure I'd call it a hobby even though I do love it. :) My family loves board games, so that's another thing I do. And I love music and good movies. One more thing you may want to know about me is that I can get a little crazy and that's when I start rambling, and yeah, you get the picture. Additionally, I love: all things vintage, anything red, my camera, sunny days, big windows, good food, family & friends, laughing, long walks, tea pots, skirts that twirl, shopping, tea, purses, birds, chocolate, music, comfy chairs, and more! :D

And that's me! If you have any questions, comments, concerns (hehe) go ahead and share them here, I'd love to hear what you have to say!
